Celebrating Nelson Mandela International Day at Santhi School
Today, Santhi School proudly celebrates Nelson Mandela International Day, honoring the life, leadership, and legacy of Nelson Mandela, a global icon of peace, justice, and human rights. The students of Santhi School actively participate in an inspiring assembly where they present speeches, poems, and skits based on Mandela’s ideals of freedom, equality, and compassion. Under the guidance of the principal and teachers of Santhi School, students learn about Mandela’s contributions to ending apartheid and promoting unity, motivating them to follow the values of courage, forgiveness, and service to humanity.
In addition to the assembly, Santhi School organizes a community service activity where students take part in a campus clean-up and tree-planting initiative, symbolizing the spirit of giving back. A poster-making competition on the theme “Be the Change” is also held to encourage creativity and reflection among young learners. By celebrating Nelson Mandela International Day, Santhi School inspires students to become responsible citizens who care for society, respect human rights, and contribute positively to the world.
